Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with complex modelling.
• Experience with formulas, Pivot Tables, VBA, macros.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving.
• Experience modelling business/workforce/financial scenarios.
• Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationships.
• STEM degree in maths/stats/economics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workforce, pay, and reward analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain complex Excel-based models to forecast workforce and financial outcomes.
• Develop cost modelling for pay proposals, policy changes, and workforce initiatives.
• Create scenario analysis and long-term forecasts incorporating variables such as workforce growth, attrition, and inflation.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate business and policy questions into analytical specifications and modelling frameworks.
• Produce clear reports and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
• Present findings and analytical insights to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with policy teams and external stakeholders to support evidence-based decisions.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of analytical methodologies and best practices.
