Job summary

LiveWest is seeking a Damp and Mould - Remote Diagnosis Technician to diagnose and resolve basic building faults remotely using TechSee, supporting housing customers across Exeter and surrounding areas. The role combines technical fault-finding with high‑quality customer service in a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities include using virtual tools, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong IT and digital literacy for remote diagnostics.
• Post-qualification experience in core trades or surveying.
• Experience in construction or social housing environments.
• Ability to diagnose basic building faults and apply safe, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technical fault diagnosis and maintenance support using virtual tools.
• Use TechSee software to inspect and diagnose basic building faults remotely.
• Provide effective, safe, regulation-compliant solutions meeting customer expectations.
• Act as a professional ambassador for LiveWest with excellent customer care.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and data protection regulations.
• Uphold LiveWest values and behaviours in every interaction.
