Build Recruitment is seeking a Damp & Mould Technician for the Response Repairs team in Bedfordshire. You will perform damp and mould treatment in occupied properties, identify causes, and carry out minor repairs while following health and safety procedures.

The role is temp-to-perm with weekly pay and a clear path to permanent employment. A van and fuel card are provided, with opportunities to progress within social housing projects.

Formación

• Carry out damp and mould treatment in occupied properties.
• Identify causes of damp, condensation, and mould.
• Clean, treat, remove mould using approved methods.
• Apply mould washes, sealants, and protective coatings as required.
• Carry out minor repairs including making good walls, ceilings, and affected surfaces.
• Improve ventilation where required, including fitting vents or extractor fans.
• Work tidy and respectful in tenants’ homes, following health & safety procedures.
• Use PPE and COSHH-compliant products correctly at all times.
• Report any further issues, causes, or follow‑on works to the office.
• Occasionally help other trades on small make‑good jobs
