Job summary

AfterQuery is seeking a remote, project-based FP&A professional with 1–3 years of corporate finance experience. The role is asynchronous, 10–20 hours per week over 2–3 weeks, with pay starting at about $60/hour and potentially reaching $100/hour.

You will develop detailed financial models, apply advanced accounting principles to real-world scenarios, and translate impacts to P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet. This is a hands-on opportunity to enhance a resume with practical finance work.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A
• Strong financial modeling and accounting knowledge

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models and answer financial questions
• Translate complex accounting and tax considerations into forecasted P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet impacts
• Apply accounting principles to real-world scenarios (NOLs, DTAs, operating leases, etc.)
