Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking a Contract Manager to own complex contracts and deliver smarter, safer waste solutions across the NW region. The role can be performed from home, with travel to client sites as needed and strong emphasis on service delivery and commercial performance.

You will manage monthly reporting, ensure safety standards, drive continuous improvement, and lead a small team of operatives and site staff in a multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of waste management and strong account management experience.
• Understanding of lean methodology and working to defined KPIs.
• Proven track record of continuous improvement in an operational/service setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring contract compliance and service delivery.
• Drive account growth through better commercial performance, upselling services and pricing negotiations.
• Produce monthly reports and bespoke multi-site client reporting and portal data management.
• Deliver site-based waste minimisation programs aligned to targets, improving cost efficiency and environmental performance.
• Manage monthly profit and loss across the contract portfolio.
