Ethos is seeking experienced competitive strategy analysts to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role focuses on market research, competitive intelligence, and benchmarking to create and refine AI-generated outputs across core workflows.

The engagement is fully remote, offering 5-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Compensation is $70/hour, start ASAP.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of market research, competitive intelligence, or benchmarking analysis in an agency, consulting, or in-house strategy role.
• Experience building market sizing models, competitor battlecards, or pricing comparisons to inform GTM or product decisions.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Develop competitive landscape and positioning decks, market sizing models, and TAM/SAM/SOM analyses.
• Produce win/loss analyses, industry benchmarking reports, and pricing/feature matrices.
• Summarize customer and stakeholder surveys and support go-to-market decisions with insights.
