Job summary

Stride Resource Management Ltd. is seeking a Development Executive to build a commercial insurance portfolio across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The role leverages existing banking connections to introduce potential clients and focuses on developing a robust pipeline while enjoying flexible, largely office-free work patterns. You will engage business owners and finance directors, selling a wide range of commercial insurance products and services, with a strong emphasis on new business

Qualifications

• Experience generating new business within commercial insurance broking.
• Broad understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to engage with businesses of varying sizes.
• Confidence building relationships with business owners, finance directors and senior decision-makers.
• Strong networking skills, particularly with banks, accountants or other professional introducers.
• Proactive approach to managing opportunities and converting introductions into long-term commercial relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop a commercial insurance portfolio across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks and professional introducers to generate new business.
• Win new clients and manage a pipeline with opportunities from £5m to £500m turnover.
• Attend client meetings with flexibility for limited office attendance.
