Stride Resource Management Ltd in Chelmsford is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Executive to take ownership of an established book and develop it further for mid-sized clients.

You will nurture relationships with mid-corporate businesses, review current arrangements, manage renewals with insurers, and seek cross-sell opportunities to drive around 10% growth while becoming the main contact for owners and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commercial Insurance Account Executive or similar client-facing broking role.
• Comfort dealing with mid-corporate accounts and discussing insurance arrangements with business owners and senior decision-makers.
• Experience retaining existing clients while identifying opportunities to grow a portfolio.
• Motor fleet/haulage insurance experience is useful but not essential; strong general commercial insurance experience is relevant.

Responsabilités

• Inherit an established portfolio generating approximately £200,000–£250,000 in annual brokerage income.
• Manage relationships with mid-corporate clients, understanding their businesses and reviewing their insurance arrangements.
