Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in the United Kingdom for a remote-first cloud-commerce platform. You will own customer-impacting incidents from investigation to resolution, working with developers, product teams, and account managers to diagnose and fix complex issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; 3+ years in technical or support engineering.
• Hands-on Linux system administration experience, preferably CentOS or RHEL.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• SQL skills for querying PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with APIs and integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• Ability to interpret logs and monitor for issue diagnosis.
• Strong English communication and remote collaboration abilities.
• Exposure to Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical support tickets end-to-end from investigation to resolution.
• Provide guidance on product functionality, configuration, and best practices.
• Diagnose complex issues using Linux, logs, networking, databases, and APIs.
• Maintain timely customer communications per SLAs.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and account managers.
• Document investigation steps and solutions for knowledge bases.
• Create and improve technical notes and troubleshooting documentation.
• Stay current with platform tech and emerging tools.
• Contribute to operational projects to boost support efficiency.
• Explore AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve docs.
