Job summary

Placements24 seeks a visionary Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement robust, scalable cloud infrastructure for a leader in the energy transition. This fully remote role lets you shape the technology backbone from anywhere, aiding smart grids and renewable energy management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; 10+ years in IT infra and software dev.
• Minimum 5 years in cloud architecture with hands-on delivery across large-scale projects.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) and related services.
• Proven experience with data processing, IoT, and AI/ML workloads.
• Solid understanding of IaC principles and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) for energy-related applications and data platforms.
• Develop architectural blueprints and roadmaps for cloud adoption and migration strategies, focusing on energy transition initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and operations teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure seamless deployment of services.
• Lead the evaluation and integration of new cloud services and technologies to enhance performance and capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
