Job summary

Charles River Laboratories is recruiting a Clinical Data Manager to join our Clinical Support Services team, working remotely (UK only). You will manage complex clinical trial data across multiple projects, ensuring data is reported accurately and on time, with a strong focus on CDISC SDTM standards and client service.

You will lead data templates, contribute to SOPs, mentor staff, coordinate data transfers, and collaborate with sponsors and cross-functional teams to maintain data quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required.
• Knowledge of CDISC CDASH/SDTM standards.
• Experience in clinical data management in CRO/pharma environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Familiar with data output formats (XML, XPT, SAS, CSV).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and teams at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data transfer requirements and dataset architectures.
• Prepare and review Data Transfer Agreements for data types.
• Oversee SDTM and non-SDTM dataset preparation for studies.
• Perform quality control for regulatory compliance and data corrections.
• Ensure datasets are compliant with regulations and transferred to sponsors.
• Mentor staff and support project workload.
