Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Remote ACC Clinical Coder (Band 5 +10% R&R) to support clinical coding training and analysis. The role involves delivering training sessions, answering coding queries, and ensuring high-quality coded data in line with coding rules and conventions. You will also mentor trainees and participate in audits.

Ideal candidates will have clinical coding experience and the ability to coach while collaborating across clinicians and managers to improve data quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical coding.

• Comfort mentoring and coaching trainees.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of training sessions and feedback to clinical coders, clinicians and managers to improve quality of coded data.
• Respond to coding queries from all areas of the Trust and contribute to analysis of coded data.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Coding team to maximise data quality while following coding rules and conventions.
• Participate in audits and validation work to ensure high-quality documentation and data.
• Provide mentor/coaching support to Clinical Coding trainees.
