Job summary

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a full-time Charity Finance Manager on behalf of a well-established charity in Cornwall. The salary is up to £46,000. The role is remote, with a monthly team meeting and a quarterly board meeting held in person across Cornwall.

You'll sit on the Senior Leadership Team and take ownership of the charity's finances, from strategy and reporting to day-to-day operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to make a real difference within

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with current finance leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of charity or voluntary sector finance and its reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience of accounting software; Xero and Dext would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Run the full finance function, covering payroll, purchase and sales ledgers, invoicing and reconciliations.
• Produce monthly management accounts and present financial papers to the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling to support long-term planning and sustainability.
• Manage the year-end accounts and external audit, making sure statutory and charity reporting deadlines are met.
• Oversee restricted funds and grant income, making sure spend is accurately tracked and reclaimed.
