Job summary

A Y M is seeking a full-time Finance and Reporting Officer to manage the charity’s finance function. This role involves processing transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing reports to budget holders. The candidate should have at least 3 years in a finance role and experience in non-profit settings.

The position offers home working with some travel, and an annual salary of £35,000 with 26 days of holiday. Ideal candidates will possess strong numerical and communication skills, along with proficiency in accounting software like Xero.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working in an all-round finance role for a charity or other non-profit.
• Experience of running payroll for a small to medium team.
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders, including communicating financial information to non-financial colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices, ensuring correct authorisation and coding.
• Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring appropriate authorisation.
• Process monthly payroll using Xero.
