Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials Limited is seeking a Category Vendor Manager to drive the governance and performance of a global vendor network supporting clinical trials. You will build strong relationships, monitor compliance, and lead improvement initiatives across vendors and service categories.

The role is remote for candidates in Europe or LATAM, requiring collaboration with global teams and cross-functional study partners to ensure trial delivery and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years vendor management experience; experience within pharmaceutical or CRO industry preferred.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience managing vendor performance programmes, KPIs, scorecards, and improvement plans.
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage at both operational and executive levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.
• Experience with TrackWise, Salesforce, Sciforma, or similar systems is advantageous, along with strong MS Office skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work accurately under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors supporting clinical trial activities.
• Implement and support Worldwide’s vendor governance strategy, monitoring compliance, effectiveness, and performance outcomes.
• Measure and evaluate vendor performance through scorecards, surveys, KPIs, and other performance management tools.
• Partner with study teams to resolve vendor performance issues and support successful study delivery.
• Lead the oversight of vendor-related quality incidents, including CAPA plans implementation and follow-up.
• Develop and report on vendor performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across key service categories.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with core and critical vendors to enhance quality and collaboration.
• Monitor outsourced service risks and oversee the implementation of vendor risk mitigation plans.
• Represent the Vendor Management function during sponsor qualification audits and support vendor assessment and qualification activities.
