TSR Legal in Bristol is seeking a Care Solicitor to join its Family Law team. The role covers care proceedings and public children law, with a caseload suited to NQ up to ~4 PQE. You will work alongside experienced specialists and handle a varied caseload while enjoying a remote-friendly setup.

This opportunity offers a salary up to £55,000 depending on experience, excellent support for junior solicitors, and the chance to develop within a specialist care and children law practice.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor between NQ and approximately 4 years’ PQE.
• Experience within care proceedings, public children law or a relevant Family Law seat.
• Demonstrate genuine interest in developing a career within children law.
• Strong drafting, communication and client-care skills.
• Comfortable dealing with sensitive and emotionally challenging matters.
• Ability to manage workload remotely and stay organised.

Responsabilités

• Managing or assisting with a caseload of public children law matters.
• Advising and representing parents, grandparents and other family members.
• Handling care proceedings and Public Law Outline matters.
• Working on cases involving vulnerable children and complex family circumstances.
• Preparing applications, statements, court documents and instructions to Counsel.
• Attending hearings, conferences and client meetings when required.
• Liaising with local authorities, guardians, experts and other professionals.
• Providing clear and sensitive advice to clients throughout proceedings.
• Supporting the continued development of the firm’s specialist care practice.
