Job summary

Hunter Selection seeks a Business Systems & Applications Manager to own and optimise a Google Workspace-centric environment, administering key business systems and driving improvements through technology. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, automation, and robust integrations across Google Workspace, Apps Script, Zapier and related platforms.

The role offers remote work with occasional site visits across the South/South West and up to £50,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Systems Manager, Applications Manager, Systems Manager or technical lead.
• Strong admin and support experience within Google Workspace.
• Experience with Google Apps Script.
• Knowledge of workflow automation platforms (e.g., Zapier).
• Experience supporting and maintaining business-critical applications.
• Strong understanding of integrations and process automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the Google Workspace environment.
• Support, maintain and develop business-critical applications and internal systems.
• Manage integrations across Google Workspace, Google Apps Script, Zapier and other connected platforms.
• Support and enhance automated workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications, integrations and business systems.
• Manage user access, permissions and system security.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Produce and maintain technical and system documentation.
• Act as the internal technical lead for business systems and applications.
