Job summary

DS Smith Europe’s unit TMS Global, a global leader in sustainable packaging, is seeking a Business Analyst to shape and deliver digital initiatives that boost efficiency, customer experience and performance. The role is remote in the UK with occasional travel.

Reporting to the Digital Enablement Lead, you will gather requirements, map processes, work with IT teams, support testing, and help drive adoption across international teams during a pivotal transformation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Business Analyst role within IT, digital transformation, or similar environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality outputs.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience within FMCG, print management, supply chain, or similarly fast-paced operational environments would be advantageous.
• Proficiency with tools such as M365, Visio, and other business analysis or mapping tools.
• An understanding of ERP platforms and their role in supporting business processes would be beneficial.
• Experience using data analysis and reporting tools is desirable; business analysis certifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements
• Assess existing processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency through technology
• Produce process maps, user stories, specifications and business cases
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Work with technical teams to design effective solutions that enhance business performance and customer experience
• Support testing and business validation activities
• Contribute to system and data integration initiatives
• Support change management activities
• Develop training materials
• Drive user adoption and post-implementation reviews
