Job summary

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to generate new business across Oxfordshire, helping local firms reach customers through radio advertising and sponsorship opportunities. The role starts with in-person training in Oxfordshire before transitioning to remote work.

You will build your own pipeline through cold outreach, develop opportunities into campaigns and manage the sales process from initial contact to proposal, with full training and ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales is required.
• Confident communicator and outbound calling experience.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Organised with excellent follow-up and time management.
• Resilient, target-driven and motivated.
• Ability to work independently from home.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business across Oxfordshire through radio advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
• Build your own sales pipeline through cold outreach and meetings with business owners.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact to proposal, negotiation and closing.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, conversations and next steps; collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth advertiser onboarding.
