Falmouth University is expanding its portfolio of professional development and bespoke short courses, seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to drive B2B income. You will build a strong pipeline, target employers and sector partners, manage a complete sales cycle and forecast income using the University CRM system.

You will work with Marketing and External Relations to generate qualified opportunities, shape the sales function, and contribute to the growth of the university’s lifelong

Qualifications

• Experience generating opportunities and converting them into income.
• Experience managing a complete sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Ability to build and manage a qualified pipeline and produce reliable forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Generate B2B income by building a strong sales pipeline and converting opportunities.
• Manage a complete sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, needs analysis, and proposals.
• Coordinate with academic, finance, legal, procurement, marketing and delivery colleagues.
• Forecast likely income and report progress using CRM data.
