Job summary

Candour is seeking an experienced Azure Technical Consultant to join our technology team, delivering cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions for diverse customers in Leeds, UK.

This hands-on role involves designing, deploying, migrating and supporting Azure environments, and working closely with customers and internal technical teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, with emphasis on automation and IaC.

Qualifications

• Design and deliver Azure infrastructure solutions across on-prem and cloud.
• Configure and manage Azure compute, storage and PaaS services.
• Implement Azure networking such as VPN, ExpressRoute, VNets and Firewalls.
• Migrate and support hybrid on-premises to Azure environments.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell and IaC tools (Terraform/Bicep).
• Engage with customers and internal teams; produce clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN, Bastion and ExpressRoute.

• Configure Entra ID, RBAC and privileged access controls.
• Implement Azure governance and security, including Azure Policy, Management Groups and tagging.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell.
• Build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or Bicep.
• Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions and technical meetings.

• Experience working with Azure compute, storage and platform services.
• Awareness of Infrastructure as Code methodologies using Terraform, Bicep or similar tools.
• Experience using PowerShell and automation technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across Azure and hybrid environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical
• stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a wider consultancy team.
