Zoonou, Ltd. is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering Team. The role involves designing and building automation solutions for a range of clients, technologies and challenges.

You’ll design and maintain automated tests, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with clients and teams to add value through automation. The role supports remote, office-based or hybrid working patterns with potential travel to our Eastbourne area as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with test automation and automated tests.
• Experience with one or more automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Understanding of automation frameworks and how they’re structured and maintained.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Bruno.
• Good working understanding of Git and source control.
• Understanding of CI/CD and how automated testing fits into a development pipeline.
• Confidence in investigating failures and improving test reliability.
• Experience working with developers, testers and other technical teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms, mobile automation, performance testing or AI-assisted development is useful but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain automated tests, frameworks and reusable testing components.
• Work with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, depending on the project needs.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Write clean, maintainable code, contribute to code reviews and investigate failures to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with testers, developers and clients to understand needs and identify automation value.
• Contribute to technical discovery, project planning and estimates.
• Apply experience in API and integration testing, working with our Performance Testing Team.
• Explore new tools and approaches, including AI-assisted development and testing.
