Job summary

Zoonou is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering Team, designing and building automation solutions across a range of clients, technologies and challenges. You’ll work with our Lead Automation Engineer, Technical Services Director and wider Quality Engineering Team.

As you develop in the role, there’ll be opportunities to take on more complex technical work, greater ownership and more client responsibility, with the opportunity to progress towards a Senior Automation

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with test automation and writing automated tests within existing frameworks.
• Solid foundation in automation across different challenges and ownership growth over time.
• Experience with API testing and integration testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated tests, frameworks and reusable testing components.
• Work with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium on project needs.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with testers, developers and clients to identify automation value.
• Contribute to technical discovery, planning and estimates.
• Apply experience in API/integration testing with the Performance Testing Team.
• Explore AI-assisted development/testing approaches to add value.
