Job summary

Arden University is seeking an Assistant Librarian (Acquisitions & Systems) to join the Library Services team. The role can be based on Arden's campuses in Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle or Nottingham, or a remote position with occasional travel to a campus.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification and a postgraduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience of working in a library environment, preferably in higher education.
• Strong understanding of library systems, digital resources, and collection management.

Responsibilities

• Manage acquisitions, digital resources, and library systems.
• Support learning and teaching teams as a subject specialist.
• Deliver training and create user guidance.
• Collaborate with Academic, Digital Learning, IT and Student Support teams.
