University Of Oxford's Bodleian Libraries are recruiting four permanent Acquisitions Senior Assistant roles to join the Content Procurement team in Oxford. You will support ordering, receipting, invoicing and donations, and help make resources discoverable.

Some home working up to two days per week may be possible after training, with many duties on site at Osney Mead. We value strong communication, attention to bibliographic information and financial data, and the ability to manage workload and

Competenze

• Clear communication skills.
• Experience handling financial data.
• Strong attention to detail with bibliographic information and figures.
• Ability to plan workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing service needs.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.
• Experience in an academic library, publishing or the book trade is desirable.
• Knowledge of integrated library systems and Slavonic languages is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Assist with ordering, receipting, invoicing and donations.
• Help acquire and process printed books and serials for the University’s collections.
• Check bibliographic and supplier information and create/update records and orders in the Integrated Library System.
• Respond to enquiries and liaise with suppliers and colleagues.
• Process incoming materials and support service targets to make resources discoverable and accessible.
