Job summary

Brightrock Games Limited is seeking an experienced Art Lead to own the visual identity for Kaiju Cleanup and future titles. You will guide concept, character, environment, VFX, UI/UX and the overall art direction across a small, collaborative team.

You will mentor artists, build a coherent visual language from scratch, and ensure art direction stays aligned with production schedules, while delivering ambitious indie visuals within a tight budget.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing art direction on at least one shipped title.
• Experience in concept, character, environment art and VFX.
• Proficient with Photoshop and Blender or 3ds Max, Substance suite, and Unity basics.
• Strong eye for composition, colour and lighting.
• Experience mentoring artists and maintaining morale.
• Fits a small indie team and collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Brightrock's art vision across all disciplines.
• Lead and mentor the art team; shape pipelines and tools.
• Collaborate with design, production, tech, and marketing to ensure on-screen readability and performance.
