Job summary

Brightrock Games Limited is seeking an Art Lead to own and define the visual identity for its titles, starting with Kaiju Cleanup. You will lead concept, character, environment art, VFX and UI, mentoring a growing team and ensuring consistency across all disciplines.

You will partner with design, production, and tech to translate gameplay needs into a cohesive visual direction, while balancing indie constraints and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing art direction on at least one shipped PC/console title with a recognizable visual language.
• Ability to critique and guide concept, character, environment art and VFX.
• Comfortable with Photoshop and Blender or 3ds Max plus Substance; Unity knowledge for technical realism.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the art vision for Brightrock titles, creating art bibles, mood boards, and reference standards.
• Lead and mentor artists across disciplines, hire and onboard as the team grows, shape the art pipeline and tools.
• Collaborate with game design, production, tech, marketing to ensure visual direction reads clearly on screen and stays on schedule.
