Job summary

QA is seeking a Compliance Officer (Apprenticeships) to support the delivery of apprenticeship standards and ensure learner data remains compliant with funding regulations. The role is home-based and permanent, focusing on accurate ILR data, administration of the Apprenticeship Service, and ongoing verification across the learner lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of working in a similar role within the Apprenticeship/Skills sector (required)
• Apprenticeship/Units Funding Rules & ILR knowledge (required)
• Working knowledge of an Apprenticeship MIS e.g. BUD, Maytas (required)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (required)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including report building/dashboards, formulas and tables) (required)
• Knowledge of The Apprenticeship Service (desirable)
• Experience of working with DfE Funding Reports (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Review and track all new learners to ensure compliance with DfE Funding Rules and business processes.
• Ensure ILR data is accurate in line with ILR Specification and Provider Support Manual; support month-end ILR submissions.
• Process and track withdrawals, breaks, reinstatements, gateway, achievements and other changes within SLA.
• Investigate and resolve ILR data mismatches and TAS DLOCKs.
• Respond to queries from wider business within SLA.
• Identify compliance gaps; suggest improvements and maintain compliance guides.
• Provide stakeholders with accurate data/reports on intervals.
• Take the lead to own specific activities and escalate issues timely.
