Job summary

V Selective Recruitment is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Operations Manager in the UK. The role covers regulatory compliance, governance, and centre operations across internal and external stakeholders.

You will drive QA policies, monitor risk, and ensure high standards of service delivery within a regulated apprenticeship framework. You will lead both the External QA and Centre Operations teams, managing risk, reporting to boards, and deputising for senior officers where required.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership within a regulated UK Awarding Organisation or EPAO.
• Deep understanding of vocational education, apprenticeships and regulatory frameworks.
• Direct background in risk-based EQA/IQA, centre compliance and risk monitoring.
• Experience line-managing internal teams and external EQAs/Assessors.
• Strong ability to draft board reports and monitor compliance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain regulated Awarding Organisation and Apprenticeship status.
• Ensure operations comply with regulatory bodies and deputise for senior officers.
• Lead the development of robust quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Oversee submission of operational data to regulatory bodies.
• Prepare papers and reports for internal boards and committees.
• Drive continuous improvement across QA processes and risk management.
