Job summary

BigPanda is hiring an AI Engineer for its Biggy Engineering team, focused on AI-powered product capabilities across the platform. You’ll own features end-to-end, work with LLMs, vector databases, and enterprise integrations, and collaborate closely with customers and engineers to deliver value.

You’ll join a fast-moving, customer-driven environment that values ownership, speed, and pragmatic tradeoffs. Remote-first within the UK, with strong emphasis on shipping impactful AI solutions for IT

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled product capabilities with LLMs, RAG, and knowledge systems.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade software across backend services, APIs, web applications, workflow systems, AI agents, and integrations.
• Architect and implement AI-native capabilities using LLMs, prompting, tool calling, agent orchestration, RAG, and vector databases.
• Write high-quality prompts for development, debugging, and customer-facing AI experiences.
• Propose, design and own features from concept through delivery, including customer discovery, technical design, implementation, validation, release and iteration.
• Collaborate with customers, GTM, product, and engineers to translate problems into product capabilities.
• Move fast in ambiguous spaces, balancing speed, quality, and customer impact.
• Respond rapidly to bugs, regressions, and customer-impacting issues.
