Alignerr is seeking chemistry masters-level experts to design and evaluate AI-driven chemistry problems, shaping how AI understands and reasons about complex chemistry topics. This fully remote hourly contract offers flexible, asynchronous work and the opportunity to influence cutting-edge AI research in chemistry.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a Master’s in Chemistry or related field, with strong analytical and scientific writing skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex scientific concepts in writing.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced chemistry problems to rigorously test AI performance across topics like chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, well-structured reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master’s-level chemistry.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI model performance.
