Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Chemistry Subject Matter Expert to train and evaluate AI models from a chemistry perspective. This remote hourly contract role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to influence AI reasoning across undergraduate to graduate topics.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Chemistry or a closely related field, demonstrates strong analytical and writing skills, and thrives working independently with minimal oversight. Prior AI experience is not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design advanced chemistry problems to test AI reasoning across domains.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with solid scientific logic.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks from undergraduate to Master's level.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
