Job summary

GPDQ is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide remote primary care services across the UK. The role requires registration as a Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist with prescribing rights and a minimum of one year in primary care.

Shift patterns include weekdays and weekends, with IT systems support and remote access through SystmOne. The role offers flexible hours and remote work within the UK, with competitive hourly rates and access to multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist with relevant professional registration.
• Must have a Right to Work in the UK.
• Minimum 1 year experience within Primary Care is Essential.
• Prescribing rights are essential.
• Must be IT literate.
• Experience assessing and treating patients across all age groups.
• MSc in Advanced Practice (RCN Accreditation may also be considered).
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with a range of minor illnesses and acute conditions.
• Provide high-quality clinical care, ideally to patients across all age groups.
• Review, interpret and act on blood test results, including FBC, U&Es, CRP, LFTs, lipid profiles and HbA1c.
• Develop and implement appropriate clinical management plans based on assessment findings and investigation results.
• Initiate or adjust treatment as clinically appropriate and within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records using SystmOne.
