Job summary

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust in Crawley is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner for the NHS 111/OOHs Clinical Assessment Service. The role is bank contract, minimum 23 hours per month, with band 8a salary and remote/onsite clinical leadership across urgent care pathways.

You will deliver autonomous high‑level clinical assessment, manage complex presentations and prescribe where appropriate, supporting teams across integrated urgent care with

Qualifications

• Professional registration with HCPC, NMC or GPhC.
• Significant Independent Non-Medical Prescribing experience.
• Significant post-registration experience in urgent and/or emergency care.
• Prescribing within primary care using EPS systems (2 years).

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical assessment and management for complex, undifferentiated presentations.
• Make autonomous clinical decisions within clinical risk and resources.
• Determine safe patient pathways including remote consultation or escalation.
• Prescribe and implement evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Lead safeguarding, governance and patient safety initiatives.
