Job summary
HUC is seeking experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioners (Nurses and Paramedics with V300 Non-medical Prescribing) to join our urgent and unscheduled care services across Hertfordshire, Essex and remote locations, delivering high‑quality care in OOH and CAS pathways.
The role offers autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge, with telephone, remote and face‑to‑face consultations, safeguarding, and ongoing management, in a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- NMC/NHS registrations and clinical qualifications required.
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent demonstrated ability.
- Non-medical prescribing (V300) and urgent care experience.
- Experience in autonomous roles within urgent care settings.
Responsibilities
- Undertake autonomous clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge.
- Provide telephone, remote, and face-to-face consultations with triage.
- Manage urgent cases, safeguarding concerns, and escalation when required.
- Prescribe, review and adjust treatment options per governance guidelines.
