Job summary

HUC is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Nurses and Paramedics with V300 Non-medical Prescribing) to join our urgent care services in Bedfordshire, delivering care across OOH and CAS pathways. You will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, handling a varied caseload via telephone, remote, and in-person consultations.

Qualifications

• NMC/HCPC registration required.
• Minor Illness qualification (Level 6/7) or equivalent.
• Minor Injury qualification (Level 6/7) or equivalent.
• Non-Medical Prescribing (V300)
• Advanced Clinical Assessment qualification (Level 6/7) or equivalent.
• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertake autonomous clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge of patients across OOH and CAS.
• Manage minor illnesses and injuries including ENT and ophthalmic presentations.
• Provide telephone, remote, and face-to-face consultations with triage and prioritisation.
• Prescribe, review and recommend treatment options.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audits and service development.
