Athona Ltd is recruiting an Advance Nurse Practitioner for NHS 111 in Croydon, London. This locum role offers full-time/part-time hours with flexible shifts, based in an office environment and paid hourly via PAYE.

You will be an NMC-registered ANP with ACP qualifications (MSc/PGDip) and a V300 prescribing credential, bringing urgent care experience to a multidisciplinary team and enabling safe, patient-centred assessments remotely.

Qualifications

• NMC registered (RN) with valid licence.
• MSc or PGDip in Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP).
• Independent non-medical prescribing qualification (V300).
• Proven experience in urgent care, primary care, or emergency settings.
• Autonomous clinical decision-making capability.
• Excellent communication and digital consultation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote clinical consultations to patients with urgent care needs via telephone and digital platforms.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including GPs, paramedics, pharmacists, and mental health professionals.
• Support patients with safe, evidence-based decision-making using NHS Pathways and clinical judgment.
• Help reduce pressure on A&E by guiding patients to appropriate care settings.

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advance Nurse Practitioner to work with an NHS 111 Service in Croydon, London. This full-time/part-time locum position is based in a office environment, with proposed working hours of Days/Nights/ Flexible shifts availability.

The role is set to begin on as soon as possible and offers continuity, offering an hourly rate of PAYE only.
