Hometree Group is hiring a dedicated Accounts Payable professional to own the purchase ledger across the group. You’ll process around 1,000 supplier invoices monthly, manage payments and reconciliations, and support audits while adopting automation tools.

You’ll work predominantly remotely, with occasional travel to the Stoke-on-Trent office as required, and you’ll be supported to pursue professional qualifications while growing with the group.

Qualificações

• Experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple entities.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn systems (Google Workspace, cloud apps).
• Clear communication with suppliers and colleagues.
• Trustworthy handling confidential financial data.
• Keen to build a career in finance within a fast-moving group.
• Interest in automating processes with AI and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Process supplier invoices across the group using Dext/Spendesk.
• Run weekly supplier payments and month-end runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain master data.
• Own the aged creditors ledger across entities.
• Support CIS payments to subcontractors and monthly returns.
• Resolve supplier and internal payment queries.
• Support month-end close and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Assist audits with organised documentation.
• Identify manual tasks and streamline with automation.
