Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end purchase ledger processing and ensure timely invoice input.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve account queries efficiently.
• Plan workloads and deadlines across the team to maintain performance.
• Maintain accounts payable controls, policies and procedures.
• Support month-end activities including reconciliations and accruals.
• Prepare AP MI and KPI reporting for management.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure process compliance.
• Lead process improvements, system enhancements and automation efforts.

Accounts Payable Specialist – About The Role

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Oversee the end-to-end purchase ledger process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure queries and account issues are resolved effectively.
• Plan and monitor workloads, priorities and deadlines across the team.
• Maintain strong accounts payable controls, policies and procedures.
• Ensure month-end requirements are completed accurately, including reconciliations, accruals and reporting.
• Prepare accounts payable management information and key performance indicators.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure compliance with company processes.
• Lead process improvements, system enhancements and automation initiatives.

The successful Accounts Payable Specialist will have:

• Previous experience in a similar position
• QBE or AAT studiers will be considered
