Job summary

Botham Accounting are recruiting a Graduate Trainee Auditor to start in September 2027 in Nottingham. The role offers fully funded ACA training with in-house mentoring and Kaplan courses, plus a proven track record of exam success.

We seek enthusiastic graduates with a predicted or achieved 2:1 degree and a professional mindset. Training is provided; no prior experience required, and you will develop audit skills, client relationships, and use analytics software while supporting local clients.

Qualifications

• Be predicted or have a minimum of 2:1 degree in any discipline.
• Interest in pursuing a career in accountancy; training provided.
• Enthusiastic, motivated and good communication skills are essential.
• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Learn to check a client’s financial information, invoices, payroll records, bank balances and balance sheet items.
• Research background information to gain knowledge of the client and industry.
• Develop communication with key stakeholders and build client relationships.
• Utilise audit and analytics software in day-to-day work.
• Attend client meetings and participate in social activities.
