Job summary

Saffery Champness in Bournemouth is seeking a Graduate Audit Trainee (ACA) for immediate start or January 2027 intake. You will begin studying toward the ACA while gaining hands-on experience across varied audits, under the guidance of experienced colleagues.

No prior work experience is required; a 2:1 degree and 120 UCAS points are expected, and AAT exemptions may apply. The three-year training contract combines professional study with on-the-job learning, building confidence with clients.

Qualifications

• 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline required.
• AAT Level 4 qualifications considered for exemptions.
• No prior relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Take through the various stages of an audit from planning to completion.
• Support audit engagements for clients across diverse industries by testing financial information and reviewing controls.
• Prepare clear audit documentation and working papers.
• Work with client data using accounting systems and audit tools.
• Assist with planning and fieldwork at office or client sites.
• Build relationships with clients to understand their business.
• Identify differences or inconsistencies in financial information.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality audit work to deadlines.
