Job summary

Nationwide Building Society is seeking a Project Manager for the Remediation Centre of Excellence on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will own and support remediation projects through the full lifecycle, from inception to close-down, including scoping, planning, estimating and delivering change.

You will manage multi-workstream plans, report progress to senior leaders, and work across Customer Resolutions and operational teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of delivering remediation projects.
• Experience leading small/medium projects end-to-end from inception through benefits realisation.
• Strong critical thinking with ability to break down complex problems and provide pragmatic solutions.
• Proven capability in building and leading high-performing teams, direct or matrix.
• Knowledge of Agile change methods and robust governance/reporting frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders at multiple levels and managing expectations.
• Ability to challenge and influence up to Senior Leadership Team and produce reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and support management of remediation projects through full lifecycle from inception to close-down.
• Support scoping, planning, estimating, and delivering change.
• Deliver projects on time and to quality, manage workstream plans and report progress to Programme Lead.
• Collaborate with Customer Resolutions and operational functions to implement solutions.
• Identify and drive opportunities for improvement and manage risks/issues.
• Utilise appropriate delivery methodology and produce collateral to enable successful delivery.
