Job summary

Office Owls Recruitment Limited is seeking a Remedial Electrician for a full-time role in Guildford/Surrey. You will perform remedial electrical work, fault finding on LV systems, and contribute to 24/7 service environments, with focus on accuracy in reports.

Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and related inspections qualifications, plus a full UK driving licence. A van and fuel card are provided, with 30 days holiday and pension, subject to probation.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation knowledge and industrial experience.
• Desirable: AM2, IPAF, PASMA, 18th Edition and Test & Inspection 2391.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical remedial works and fault finding on LV installations.
• Order parts and equipment for tasks and maintain required records.
• Liaise with supervisor for planned maintenance and reporting procedures.

JOB PURPOSE

Due to several large projects wins they are looking to expand the business and they are now looking for a Remedial Electrician to join their expanding teamYou will have the ability to work as part of a team to carry out Electrical Remedial Works for a range of clients.You should possess a good working knowledge of current electrical legislation, regulations and standards and have a proven track record of working in 24-hour operational environments.The role requires a person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good IT skills would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided to produce legible, accurate and concise reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extensive knowledge of single and three phase fault finding and 1st time fixes.Good sound electrical knowledge, for testing and installation worksTo carry out electrical repairs / minor works on variety types of LV installationsTo assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasksTo liaise with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor for planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting proceduresTo maintain records of all work, and that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescales

SALARY & BENEFITS
