Job summary

Office Owls Recruitment Limited is seeking a Remedials Electrician in the Swindon area for a full-time role with a 45-hour week. You will perform fault finding, testing and minor repairs on LV installations and ensure paperwork is completed within set timescales.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3 / 236 and, preferably, AM2, IPAF and PASMA. A full UK driving licence is required and a company van is provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical Installation NVQ Level 3 / 236 in commercial/industrial settings.
• Desirable: C&G AM2, IPAF, PASMA.
• Desirable: 18th Edition Test and Inspection 2391.

Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of single and three phase fault finding and 1st time fixes.
• Good sound electrical knowledge for testing and installation works.
• Carry out electrical repairs/minor works on various types of LV installations.
• Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
• Liaise with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor for planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting procedures.
• Maintain records of all work and ensure that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescales.

Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of electrical safety services, specifically inspection and testing of fixed installations. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Remedial Electrician in the Swindon area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALARY & BENEFITS

Our client offers a salary of up to £48,000.
