Carrington West are assisting a London local authority with the appointment of an experienced Facilities Management Relocation Manager to lead and coordinate corporate relocations, office moves, service decants and workplace reconfiguration projects across a complex operational estate.
For this appointment, strong Facilities Management experience gained within a local authority environment is particularly important. We are looking for someone who understands the complexities of managing accommodation and workplace change across a diverse public-sector estate, working with multiple Council services, operational teams and stakeholders.
This is a hands-on delivery role combining Facilities Management, workplace planning, space utilisation, AutoCAD and relocation/project management. You will manage accommodation changes from initial planning through to move-day delivery, ensuring services remain operational and disruption is kept to a minimum.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a strong Facilities Management background within a local authority or Council setting, alongside direct experience of delivering relocations and workplace change.
Previous experience operating within a political/local government environment and an understanding of member relations would also be advantageous.
The role involves regular travel between operational sites and requires some flexibility to work outside normal office hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to oversee move-day activities.
