Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Relocation Manager to lead corporate relocations, office moves, service decants and workplace reconfiguration across a complex public estate. The role combines FM delivery, workplace planning, space utilisation, AutoCAD and relocation project management to keep services operating with minimal disruption.

The successful candidate will travel between operational sites and work in a London hybrid arrangement, engaging with Council

Qualifications

• Substantial Facilities Management experience within a local authority environment.
• Proven experience delivering office relocations, service moves, decants and workplace reconfigurations.
• Strong workplace planning, space utilisation and accommodation planning experience.
• Significant experience using AutoCAD to develop floor plans, layouts and move drawings.
• Excellent stakeholder management across Council departments and teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading corporate relocations, office moves, service decants and workplace reconfiguration projects.
• Coordinating FM, IT, Security, contractors and operational teams to deliver moves.
• Producing workplace layouts, occupancy plans and space utilisation analysis.
• Using AutoCAD to develop floor plans and move scenarios.
• Managing multiple relocation workstreams, milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Procuring and managing removals and logistics contractors.
• Maintaining accurate furniture, equipment and accommodation records.
• Planning moves to protect business continuity and minimise disruption.
