Job summary

BRC is currently recruiting Relief Support Workers in Newport and surrounding areas to assist across support services. Experience in homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse, refuge or supported housing is preferred, but relevant support work will be considered.

There is flexibility around shifts, including 2-3 days per week and 24-hour patterns. Long-term and permanent opportunities exist across Floating, Senior, Caseworker and Support Worker roles.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a support setting.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Reliable, approachable and confident supporting vulnerable people.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief support across services in Newport and surrounding areas.
• Be flexible with shifts (2-3 days per week) and cover 24-hour shifts when needed.
• Explore long-term and permanent opportunities in various roles (Floating, Senior, Caseworker, Support Worker).

Newport

BRC are currently recruiting for relief staff in Newport and surrounding areas , with a number of opportunities available across support services. We’d ideally like to hear from people with experience in homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse, refuge or supported housing, although relevant support work experience will also be considered.

We’re looking for:

• Previous experience within a support setting
• An Enhanced DBS
• A full UK driving licence is preferred
• Someone who is reliable, approachable and confident supporting vulnerable people

There is flexibility around shifts, so if you’re looking to work around other commitments, we can look at options such as 2-3 days per week. We also have shift work available, including 24-hour shift patterns and opportunities to pick up additional shifts where available.

We also have long-term and permanent opportunities available, including:

• Floating Support Worker
• Senior Support Worker
• Caseworker
• Support Worker

Some of these positions are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with longer-term contracts also available.
