We are currently seeking an energetic, person-centred Relief Support Worker in the Darlington area to provide high-quality care to our service users with support needs.

Our services support individuals with a range of needs, including learning disabilities. We have a strong history of helping individuals live independent and fulfilling lives, promoting personal development and community engagement. The role requires flexible working with a positive attitude towards the individuals we support, and pay is on a weekly basis.

Relief Support Worker Duties:

1. Provide person-centred support to service users on a flexible relief basis as required.
2. Assist in the administration and monitoring of prescribed medication in line with the Scheme’s Medication Policy.
3. Support service users to become as independent as possible, enhancing their confidence, competence, and personal effectiveness in areas such as personal care, social skills, daily living skills, and more.
4. Maintain the safety, security, and comfort of service users' homes.
5. Promote the self-esteem, happiness, and emotional well-being of service users.

Experience is essential for this role. An understanding of positive behaviour support is desirable but not required, as training will be provided.
