We are seeking relief hour individuals to provide excellent person-centred care and support to tenants with learning disabilities living within the Whitley Bay area.
You will assist and develop the everyday living skills of our service users and support them to enjoy a wide range of activities.
We require positive and enthusiastic individuals who will demonstrate superb communication skills, work within positive behaviour support guidelines, and encourage tenants to live socially inclusive lives. The staff must be able to build trusting and friendly rapport with all service users at our Whitley Bay service and work within local and corporate policy guidelines in a dignified manner.
The posts also offer potential candidates the opportunity to work across other services and with individuals who have a range of support needs. We seek warm, motivated, and person-centred individuals with a keen interest in providing personalised support aligned with individual care plans.
This is a Relief Support Worker position, allowing you to pick up shifts that suit your schedule, making it ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities.
You will be paid weekly, and a minimum of twelve months' experience is essential for this role.
