Job summary

Sense is seeking relief support workers to join our residential service in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The role offers flexible shifts and a pay rate of £13 per hour, with full training provided on start. No prior experience is required, though experience with challenging behaviour is a plus.

You will support seven individuals with sensory and learning disabilities, helping with daily tasks and community activities in a welcoming team.

We are looking for passionate and motivated Relief support workers to join a fantastic team at our service at Gillot Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham.
This is a casual role with flexible shift patterns every weekpaying £13/hr.

You will join a fantastic team in a residential service based in Edgbaston which houses 7 individuals with sensory and learning disabilities. The individuals we support lead a happy, varied and fulfilled lifestyles that reflect their individuality and preferences.

You do not require prior experience as full training will be provided when you start this role. However, prior experience of working with challenging behaviour is desirable.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Positive, with a can-do attitude
• Caring, patient, and empathetic
• Flexible and comfortable working across a varied shift pattern
• Willing to attend training and develop in their role

This role might include supporting people with:

• Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
